Drinking horsetail tea, nettle tea etc will increase bone density, says David Wolfe. I love David Wolfe and have read Maria Treben’s “Health Through God’s Pharmacy”, numerous times. That book is one of the most amazing and informative books I have ever read. I have also learned a great deal from listening to David Wolfe’s podcasts. Amazing guy! “The well-known author and supporter of the raw-vegan lifestyle, David Wolfe (www.davidwolfe.com) states that, “Calcium does not build bones. This is one of the biggest misconceptions ever.” He states that silicon and magnesium are the keys to increasing bone density. So, stop taking calcium and start taking silicon and magnesium to increase your bone density.

Foods that contain silicon include bell peppers, soybeans, leafy green vegetables, whole grains, alfalfa, beets, brown rice, rice bran, rice hulls, rolled oats, nettles, hemp leaf and horsetail.

Magnesium is found in nuts such as cashews, almonds, macadamia and cacao. Foods like halibut, avocados, oatmeal, baked potatoes and spinach also contain magnesium. Make sure you are adding plenty of green leafy vegetables to your diet, as they are foods rich in magnesium. They are also a good source for calcium and silicon.

Raw chocolate and cacao are not only a great source of magnesium; they are also beneficial for the teeth, as chocolate destroys Streptococcus, the organism that causes cavities. According to David, the tooth’s worst enemy is sugar; chocolate is beneficial.

David Wolfe’s Super Foods:

David recommends including super foods and herbs in your diet by adding them (in powder form) to meals or by brewing teas with these beneficial herbs and foods. He recommends 1-3 capsules of silica from horsetail extract daily. The herbs and super foods contain all the vitamin, mineral and protein requirements, glyconutrient requirements, essential fatty acid requirements, immune system requirements and more.

David’s top super herbs include: vanilla bean, pau d’arco, cat’s claw, chanca piedra, camu camu berry and horsetail.

The top super foods include: goji berries, cacao beans (cacao nibs, cacao powder, cacao butter), maca (regular maca, red maca), acai, bee pollen, honey, blue-green algae, aloe vera, noni, yacon root (powder and syrup), hemp seed, Incan berries and kelp.

David Wolfe’s Favorite Teas:

1. Horsetail, alfalfa, nettles and cat’s claw.

2. Gogi berry, vanilla, pau d’arco, cat’s claw, nettles and horsetail. According to Wolfe, “They are amazing.”

3. Goji berry, vanilla bean and pau d’arco.

4. Mushroom tea consisting of reishi and maitaki. Mushroom tea is made using the same method as is used for herbal teas; the herbs or the mushrooms are not boiled.

How David Wolfe Makes His Teas:

David slowly heats high-quality water (preferably spring water) to no more than 170 degrees Fahrenheit. When the water cools, he adds the herbs. He suggests using a stainless steel pot.

David added, “Every herbalist that I knew when I was a kid – Chinese medical doctors said you have to boil it, you have to boil it. I never boil it and it’s perfectly fine. In fact, it’s the best ever.”

In addition, David takes horsetail tinctures daily. MariaTrebens, (www.mariatrebens.com) offers the following recipes for teas and tinctures:

Tincture – Place 10gm of fresh horsetail in 50gm of vodka or whiskey. Place the mixture in the sun for 14 days. Shake the bottle daily.

Infusion or tea – Pour 1/2 liter of boiling water over 2 heaping teaspoons of dried horsetail.

The Swiss herbalist, Abbe Kuenzle says, “All people from a certain age on should drink a cup of Horsetail tea every day all year round and all pain caused by rheumatism, gout and nerves would disappear and every person would have a healthy old age.”

Horsetail should be stored in a well-sealed container in a cabinet, away from the light.”

Oklahoma lawmaker wants to stop Pepsi from using aborted fetus cells in soda flavoring research

“In order to simulate various flavors in processed foods, some food manufacturers are actually using aborted fetal cells to test and produce these artificial chemical enhancers that millions of Americans consume every single day. Concerned about the ethical and moral implications of such a process, Oklahoma Senator Ralph Shortey has introduced new legislation to prohibit this practice from occurring in his home state.

Senomyx, a California-based biotechnology company that specializes in developing food flavorings, is one such company that uses aborted embryonic cells to create “isolated human taste receptors,” which are used in the production of food chemicals. And this company has partnered with several major food manufacturers, including Kraft, PepsiCo, and Nestle.

“There is a potential that there are companies that are using aborted human babies in their research and development of basically enhancing flavor for artificial flavors,” Sen. Shortey is quoted as saying by KRMG News Talk Radio. “What I am saying is that if it does happen then we are not going to allow it to manufacture here.”

According to Children of God for Life (CGL), a pro-life watchdog group, Senomyx uses HEK 293 to produce its artificial flavor enhancing chemicals. HEK 293 is code for human embryonic kidney cells that are manipulated to produce taste receptors that express a specific protein known as the G protein. But CGL says the company could also use animal, insect, or other more acceptably-derived cells instead, and still procure the same results.

While aborted fetal cells are not necessarily in the final products made by PepsiCo, Kraft, or Nestle, such cells appear to needlessly play a part in the production of artificial flavor chemicals used by these companies. And since there are viable alternatives to this questionable practice, Sen. Shortey, CGL, and many others are calling for its end.

As we reported previously, the Campbell Soup company used to be a Senomyx partner until CGL contacted them about the fetal cell issue. Shortly thereafter, reports indicate that Campbell’s officially cut ties with Senomyx, which in 2003 filed a patent for “recombinant (genetically modified) methods for expressing a functional sweet taste receptor.”"

“One of the best kept secrets in the nutritional field is aloe vera. Commonly recognized for soothing ulcers, hemorrhoids, sunburns, wounds and other skin ailments, many don’t know the power pure raw aloe vera juice has for improving and even reversing serious diseases that baffle mainstream medicine.

That’s because those claims are suppressed.

If a supplement or nutritional product promotes any kind of cure, the FDA and other agencies send their bootjack militia to raid them. Improving on nature is probably unnecessary with aloe vera

The desire to modify or isolate ingredients from aloe vera to create an accepted medical model that is efficacious without side effects is commendable. But it appears Big Pharma and the cancer industry’s good fellas want to protect their turf. Allowing an actual cure would even put the cancer cure fund raisers out of business.

Most store shelf aloe vera juices don’t do much beyond soothing the minor ailments mentioned earlier. Those juices are processed, heated, and diluted. That’s not the case with all aloe vera products. The right aloe vera juice products are miracle healers.

The most dramatic clinical proof of pure raw aloe vera juice comes from research done with AIDS patients. Almost all who were put on a regimen of daily aloe vera juice got better with white T cell counts skyrocketing. It’s obvious that aloe vera is a potent immune booster, which implies it can be applied to other diseases.

One of the AIDS patients in this trial was diagnosed with advanced liver cancer and told he had less than two months to live. His liver was so tumor riddled it was four times its normal size. He continued with the juice, improved gradually, and within a year all his tumors were gone.

A doctor involved with this trial, pathologist H. Reginald McDaniel MD, was at first skeptical. But now he has seriously ill patients using aloe successfully. What turned him around was his own illness, a viral pneumonia for which conventional medicine had no answer. He was given a couple of cases of aloe juice, and his cure turned him into an aloe advocate.

Two short videos covering the aloe AIDS/cancer story are linked at the end of this paragraph. The last part of video 2 is censored, evidently to exclude information for ordering that particular juice. Promoting non-pharmaceutical AIDS and cancer cures is a no-no with the FDA. Aloe’s healing power known for ages

The juice’s power has been known by indigenous groups for ages. Franciscan Friar Romano Zago discovered how to make the juice from Brazilian Indians, used it with local villagers, and published his findings in the 1980s. Congress wants to take away what you have paid for – your access to research!

Apparently, Congress is now wanting to take away what you have paid for – your access to research! According to Alliance for Natural Health USA: Read on…….

“In 2008, the National Institutes of Health required that all federally funded research publications be made openly available. PubMedCentral (PMC) is a free full-text archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature at the National Institutes of Health’s National Library of Medicine.

The publishers of the journals weren’t so happy with this new arrangement—they were afraid no one would pay for their publications if the research results were immediately accessible. So the government agreed to give them a full year of journal sales before their research papers had to be posted on PMC, which lets them keep their subscriber base. Journal subscriptions to educational and medical institutions are expensive—and they’re big business.

But even this generous arrangement isn’t good enough for the Association of American Publishers (AAP). The trade group liked the old rules, where they could sell the tax-funded research back to the taxpayers. So the AAP got two members of Congress, Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-NY) and Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), to introduce HR 3699, the Research Works Act, just before the end of 2011.

This bill would prevent the NIH or any other agency from causing or even allowing private-sector research work to be disseminated online without prior consent of both the publisher and the study authors—even if the funding came from our tax dollars.

The AAP weren’t the only publishers involved. Elsevier—the Reed Elsevier Publishing Group, a multinational company that publishes around 2,000 journals and close to 20,000 books and major reference works—happens to be in Rep. Carolyn Maloney’s district, and Elsevier employees made campaign contributions to both Issa and Maloney. (Apparently, it only takes $10,500 to buy two members of Congress.)

Said contributors all work for Tom Reller, vice president for global corporate relations at Elsevier. Interestingly, an email about the bill from Rep. Maloney to one of her critics contained language that was nearly identical to language used by Reller when he was defending the same bill! Are members of Congress employing lobbyists as ghostwriters now?

This is about access to peer-reviewed scientific information—research that we pay for with our tax money. If this bill passes, Americans who want to read the results of federally funded research will have to buy access to each journal article individually—at a cost of $15 or $30 apiece. In other words, as the New York Times recently noted, taxpayers who already paid for the research would have to pay again to read the results.

Access to peer-reviewed scientific research is essential if you are to make informed choices regarding your family’s health—especially if you choose complementary and alternative medicine. Good research will let us choose wisely when it comes to questions of treatment modalities, vaccines, diet, nutrition, and medicine. Right now, supplement companies aren’t even allowed to tell you about the science behind their products, so we must get the scientific information directly from the source.

But that’s just the problem: consumers, integrative doctors, and small businesses might not have the funds to access all these scientific journals—which means your access to the science behind natural products will be limited to what mainstream medicine may wish you to know.

PMC compiles entire studies and has 2.3 million articles going back to 1965. It allows patients, physicians, students, teachers, and advocacy organization like ANH-USA to read about and cite the discoveries that our tax dollars paid for—to keep you informed in these pages, we may review as many as a hundred studies every year. If we needed to pay a publishing company every time we viewed a study which taxpayers have already paid for, we’d be giving thousands of dollars to a publishing company every year instead of protecting your access to natural health.

So what can you do? Two things will make a huge difference!

  • First, help us gain co-sponsors for the Free Speech about Science Act (FSAS). This landmark legislation enables the natural health products community to share peer-reviewed scientific findings about natural health products with the public. The problem, of course, is that if it becomes more difficult for supplement companies and consumers to access the scientific studies themselves, the entire point of FSAS is effectively undermined.
  • The second step is to ask Congress to defeat this new Research Works Act. Please send your message today and explain why limiting access to the results of important studies—which your tax dollars have already paid for—is such a terrible idea. Take action immediately!“

Foods High in Vitamin K2 for bone density, healthy arteries and great teeth!

As a follow up to my last blog, Calcium Controversy Explained, Vitamin K2 which, when combined with Vitamin D3, provides

  • Enhanced osteocalcin accumulation in cells
  • Increased bone formation
  • Amplified bone mineral density

Here is a list of foods that are highest in K2:

  • Natto
  • Hard cheese
  • Soft cheese
  • Egg yolk
  • Butter
  • Chicken liver
  • Salami
  • Chicken breast
  • Ground beef
  • Sauerkraut

The butter must be from grass fed cows. I am not a fan of natto, salami and I don’t eat ground beef. I have added chicken livers, sauerkraut, eggs, soft and hard cheeses and am going to make raw fermented vegetables.

We’re left to wonder: is calcium beneficial or dangerous? There is little doubt that calcium plays many key roles in our health, but the latest research clarifies that calcium alone is not the answer. Protect Against Shingles Without Being Vaccinated

My brother-in-law has had it a few times and it is very uncomfortable to say the least. I have never had them or chicken pox. I was very lucky! Read on….

“Dear Readers,

Some describe it as sheer misery and others say it’s the worst pain they’ve ever experienced in their lives.

So should you consider getting the shingles vaccine to reduce your risk of all that despair and pain?

Pox in hiding

If you had chicken pox as a child, then you’re at risk of developing a case of shingles. Long after the chicken pox is gone, the virus that caused it (varicella zoster virus, VZV) lies dormant in nerve roots.

VZV may rest quietly there for all your days. But for people whose immune systems are compromised by stressful events or immunity-suppressing drugs, VZV may suddenly come roaring back as a case of shingles.

The shingles vaccine (known as Zostavax) was approved by the American Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2006, and in the European Union (EU), in 2007. However, you know how it goes… in terms of what we know about adverse side effects, this vaccine is still brand spanking new, despite the fact that it is being used on people.

In fact, all vaccines are suspect until they’ve been monitored for decades (for long-term dangers), and this vaccine obviously doesn’t fall into that category.

However, it’s not just vaccines that should be carefully monitored, it’s all pharmaceuticals… especially those that are prescribed across the board… and in the wake of, let’s say, a worldwide flu ‘pandemic’.

Fox in the whole

Recently, the British Medical Journal (BMJ) slammed the drug maker Roche, for refusing to release data from a two-year investigation into the effectiveness and side-effects of their widely prescribed drug, Tamiflu.

If you remember, Tamiflu was the so-called ‘wonder drug’ that was used worldwide in the wake of the Swine Flu debacle back in 2009, to fight the H1N1 virus.

Frankly, it’s a disgrace that Roche refuse to provide this data and it points to only one thing: Governments have spent millions on stockpiling Tamiflu on the basis that it is supposed to be safe and effective. That money could just as well have been flushed down the drain, because it may eventually transpire that Tamiflu was a dud!

Back to Zostavax… So far, the most common adverse effects are headaches and injection site itching, swelling, pain, warmth, bleeding, and bruising… and wait for this… Some have experienced shingles or chickenpox-like rashes within 42 days after receiving the vaccine.

As for Tamiflu… The most common side effects are nausea, vomiting and stomach ache, as well as hallucinations, delirium or abnormal behaviour, which sometimes can be fatal… Sounds like Tamiflu is more than a dud, it is extremely dangerous too!

But you know what Big Pharma says when the safety of their snake oil is questioned… Something like: “All drugs have side effects and our priority is to minimise the risk of serious illness the best we can.”

Nature nurtures best

If that’s the case, why not just prevent shingles with B-12 (which also is an excellent treatment for them once you get them) and lysine (which also can be used to treat them).

Better still, if you know you are at risk and you want to prevent shingles with vitamin B-12, Dr Alan Spreen suggests that taking 500mcg per day would be a good insurance policy because B-12 protects the nerves. Supplementing with lysine (an essential amino acid) is a little more complicated.

Dr. Spreen: “With lysine you have to be more careful, as you’re playing with something called the lysine/arginine ratio. Lysine competes with arginine in the body, and arginine is a stimulant of growth hormone, so you don’t want to drive that down unless you have a real reason. And an arginine supplement isn’t a solution because you’re trying to alter the ratio to make it less favourable to the virus.

“That said, if you GET shingles, then 3 grams (3,000 mg) of lysine daily can do a lot (a LOT) to shorten the duration and lessen the pain/itch right off. Given that a person has developed shingles (or, rather, gets them often), at that point, I’d go on 500mg of lysine daily (between meals) as insurance after kicking the previous outbreak. But I wouldn’t take lysine just because I had chicken pox as a child.”

In supplement form, high doses of lysine may increase gallstone risk and raise cholesterol levels, so lysine supplementation should be monitored by a doctor that specialises in natural medicine.”

“Chlorella is a green algae that is considered to be one of the most powerful superfoods known to man. Chlorella contains vasts amount of chlorophyll within its cell walls. The cell walls of chlorella are tough and indigestible, so many chlorella producers break the cell walls before selling the product. Broken cell chlorella releases the nutrients inside the cell walls so the human body can use them. Besides being possibly the richest source of chlorophyll on Earth, chlorella is also very high in plant protein. Chlorella contains fifty-eight grams of protein per one hundred grams of weight. By comparison, beef and chicken have twenty-four to twenty-eight grams of protein per one hundred grams of weight. Chlorella is a pain reliever, reduces hypertension, enhances the immune system in some cases, and chelates heavy metals.

Chlorella has been found to reduce pain

In 2000, a pilot study was conducted in which fibromyalgia patients consumed 10g of a commercially available chlorella tablet and 100mL of chlorella in liquid form. Symptoms were measured at the beginning of the trial, and again after one and two months of treatment with chlorella. After two months on chlorella, the fibromyalgia patients reported a significant 22% reduction in pain and tenderness. One-third of the patients believed their health was better after taking chlorella. Scientists involved with this study stated that a full double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial was warranted.

Chlorella reduces or stabilizes blood pressure, even when medication is stopped

In another clinical study, patients with hypertension were given 10g chlorella tablets and 100 mL chlorella extract for two months. Patients were taken off all blood pressure medications, then treated with chlorella. One-fourth of the patients saw a decrease in blood pressure after taking chlorella for two months. The other three-fourths did not see a rise in blood pressure, despite being taken off their blood pressure medication.

Chlorella enhances the immune system after flu shots in some adults

In a clinical trial performed in 2003, patients who had received flu shots were given chlorella to see if the algae improved immune system function. The subjects, all over the age of fifty, took either a placebo or chlorella for three weeks before being injected with a flu vaccine. At one week and three weeks after receiving the flu shots, patients between the ages of fifty and fifty-five who had been taking chlorella had two to four times more antibodies than the placebo group. Results were insignificant for older adults in the study.

Chlorella has potential as a heavy metal chelator

A study involving rats showed the potential chlorella has for counteracting heavy metal poisoning in humans. Male rats were given cadmium chloride, a toxic metal compound used in yellow dye and photocopying. Some rats were also fed chlorella powder, while other rats were used as the control group. “One of the biggest misconceptions in health care today is the role of fevers. Through misunderstanding, many parents fear fevers, when they should love and respect them. A fever is one of the most extraordinary and intricate healing processes in the body. It plays out like a symphony, orchestrated only when needed to stimulate an immune response, destroy invading organisms and promote the restoration of health. The American Academy of Pediatrics voiced concerns in a 2011 study, concluding that parents need to understand the fever itself is not endangering to a healthy child. In contrast, it’s actually beneficial and the primary goal of treatment should be to improve comfort, rather than lowering body temperature alone.

Traditionally, fevers were respected and understood. People knew that the fever would build and then break, like a wave rolling into shore. Now, without knowing or understanding the process, most try to suppress it immediately using antipyretics, or substances that lower temperature, such as acetaminophen and ibuprofen. Antipyretics may quickly lower temperature, but in doing so they silence the body, hinder immune system development, allow the invader to survive and potentially induce chronic disease development.

Antipyretics are often misused, incorrectly administered or excessively dosed as well. Fifty percent of parents consider a temperature of less than 100.4°F is a fever and 25% of caregivers administer an antipyretic then, before the temperature actually reaches fever status. More disturbingly, 85% of parents report waking a sleeping child to administer antipyretics. 80% of pediatricians disagree with this practice. The physiologic healing that occurs while sleeping far surpasses the desire to simply lower the fever.

Modern medicine has lead us away from our bodies. Through its symptom-targeted treatments, patients have learned to expect immediate results. This is even more true when loving parents are concerned for their children. Treating symptoms without treating the cause is like taking the batteries out of the fire alarm, while the house burns down. It is essential to teach parents and children to listen and interpret these signs from the body, not just focus on removing of them.

Fever as a friend, not a foe

A fever is defined by an oral temperature exceeding 100.4° F. They are usually self-limiting and short in duration. There is no evidence of fevers worsening the course of the illness or causing long- term neurological complications. It is important to understand, that the fever itself is not a disease, but rather a symptom of an underlying disharmony.

As human beings, we want to stay alive. This is true on all levels. Mentally, physically, physiologically, and biologically, we function to promote life. Once this is understood, it’s easy to grasp that a fever is a physiologic process the body uses to fight infection, thus promoting survival or life. When an invader (virus, bacteria etc.) enters the body, signals are sent to the brain to increase the hypothalamic “set point”. This essentially turns up the thermostat for a few days to kill the intruder. Signals can come from bacterial toxins or the body’s response to the intruder, i.e. the production of cytokines, chemical mediators, macrophages, and antibodies. The temperature increase also enhances the immune system by catalyzing enzymes, increasing neutrophil production and T-lymphocyte proliferation. Inflammation is stimulated to protect the area, prevent the spread of infection and initiate the healing process.

Always consult your naturopathic physician or pediatrician when fevers exceed 102°F or last longer than three days. Also consult if the fever causes great discomfort, breathing difficulty, stiff neck, convulsions or any time you are unsure. Proper hydration and electrolyte replenishment are essential to support the body.”

Paula Deen exposed as Big Pharma selling for profiting from the diabetes disease her recipes promote

First of all, “anti-diabetes drugs are ineffective because lowering patient’s blood-sugar levels does not cure the disease.” Second of all, getting paid to make people sick and then getting paid to advertise a very dangerous drug is, in my estimation, the work of the devil. Do you wish you could have a share of the billions in profits raked in by pharmaceutical companies peddling dubious drugs? If you are unencumbered by integrity, you may want to follow the lead of celebrity chef Paula Deen to gain a chunk of the plentiful prescription drug dollars.

Paula Deen’s Ethics-Free 4-Step Path to Big Pharma Cash

“1. Attain some sort of minor celebrity status. In Paula’s case, she started as a restauranteur and then self-published cookbooks. These books led to appearances on QVC and Oprah’s show. She subsequently had her own Food Network shows. She was widely known for her liberal use of butter and her preference for deep-frying anything and everything — one of her signature dishes is deep-fried stuffing on a stick. Another recipe she demonstrated on her show was a burger inside a split doughnut, topped by an egg and bacon. She has also long been affiliated with Smithfield, the industrial meat company, creating a recipe collection using their products.

2. Become sick from practicing the lifestyle choices you teach others to make. Paula Deen was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes three years ago. While it is sad when anyone is diagnosed with a serious illness, what makes Paula Deen worthy of ridicule rather than sympathy is how she handled this situation.

3. Tell no one about the diagnosis you have received, and continue to promote the unhealthy lifestyle which led to the disease. In the meantime, have your agent work on the next step.

4. Find a pharmaceutical company willing to pay you money to be a spokesperson for one of its drugs designed to squash the symptoms of your disease. Paula Deen now appears in advertisements for Novo Nordisk’s diabetes treatment Victoza.

“Cures” that cause other diseases — and don’t cure

It is difficult to determine which of Paula Deen’s endorsed products holds more health dangers — the processed meats or the drug. In 2011, the FDA ordered Novo Nordisk to print a “black box” warning on the drug’s label. This is the federal agency’s strongest warning, used to alert consumers that grave health consequences are involved. The warning says that Victoza “causes thyroid C-cell tumors at clinically relevant exposures in rodents.” Other side-effects associated with the drug include headache, nausea, and diarrhea. Ads for the cancer-causing drug now feature a smiling Deen along with the caption “live a life that’s delicious.”

The cynicism of both Deen and Nova Nordisk is amazing. Both essentially endorse the idea that people should eat whatever they want, regardless of the health consequences. Then, when diagnosed with a disease, simply pop a pill and make the symptoms disappear. Until another disease appears as a consequence of the pill — but then you can take another pill for that, or perhaps undergo surgery or a round of radiation. Another celebrity chef, Anthony Bourdain commented via Twitter about the Deen-drug company alliance: “Thinking of getting into the leg-breaking business, so I can profitably sell crutches later.” (Although, Bourdain himself is not exactly an advocate for good health. He is known for making anti-vegetarian statements, calling people who do not eat meat “a persistent irritant to any chef worth a damn.” He has also said of cigarette smoking, “it really does make you cool. Chicks love it”.)

The Deen-endorsed drug not only has the potential to cause cancer, it also does not deliver any health benefits in return for its health risks. Like most pharmaceuticals prescribed for diabetics, the drug treats symptoms but not the disease. In a 2008 issue of the Clinical Journal of the American Society of Nephrology, University of North Carolina professor of medicine Nortin Hadler noted that anti-diabetes drugs are ineffective because lowering patient’s blood-sugar levels does not cure the disease.

Maybe Deen can persuade her sponsors Smithfield and Nova Nordisk to create some coop ads. They could run spots in which Deen cooks and eats Smithfield processed meats, seasoning them with a powdered form of Victoza. Or perhaps Smithfield and Nova could have a partnership in which anti-diabetic and anti-cancer drugs are injected into the industrial meat. These may sound like outrageous suggestions but they really aren’t any more far-fetched and cynical than Deen’s affiliation with the drug company.”
