About
Cathy Heard is a retired Canadian school teacher living in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico on the Mayan Riviera. Growing up in Vancouver, BC, her mother always had simple, natural remedies at hand for many things that afflicted Cathy and her 4 siblings, from bread poultices for infections, all the way to a scraped apple and cold tead concoction that the entire family has sworn by ever since it saved Cathy’s sister, Suzy from severe dehydration when she was a child. Cathy is a healthy, active retiree who can outrun her own children, and she attributes her fantastic health to her eating habits and her active, outdoor lifestyle.
Cathy loves to travel and so does her family. Recently, her daughter gave birth to Cathy’s first grandson, Joey, in sunny Playa Del Carmen. She has a Mexican grandson, a Danish almost-daughter-in-law, British, Aussie, and Mexican friends and a Canadian passport. And don’t think any of those people have escaped her Apple Cider Vinegar prescriptions!

Wow, thanks. I was searching for something like this for hours. I wish there was more info about this. I really appreciate the post
I’m just having a biopsy done on a lesion that I think will come out pre-cancerous. I am very much against invasive surgery and was surprised to read about Iodine therapy. Is this something I can do and how would I go about it?
Thank you,
Dione Christensen
