Ashwagandha OilI had the pleasure of meeting a lady named Rita, in her store in Surrey. It is called Ayurhealing Inc. Her store, when you walk in, is healing in itself. It is very homey and relaxing. Rita is an Ayurvedic Consultant who graduated with an Associates degree in Dhanavantari Ayurveda from Florida Vedic College and also received her Bachelors in Ayurveda from San Diego College Of Ayurveda.

Ayurveda focuses on the Ayurvedic way of living according to one’s constitution and the natural secrets to heal the mind, body and soul through routine, diet, exercise, seasons, cleansing, self realization, prevention, devotion and change. An Ayurvedic practitioner would look at a person under treatment, never look at one disease itself, but instead look overall to determine a disharmony in the bio energies. This could all be influenced by our mind, digestive fire, diet, emotions, surroundings and spirituality. The leitmotif that Ayurveda offers us for the human form of life is that we should live happily in the material world, never forget our roots in the spiritual world, learn to balance out our activities on the physic, psychic mental and spiritual levels as we are part of the universe and the universe is a part of us.

She told me about Ashwagandha Oil and it’s benefits. She said that emotions that arise out of Stress (threat-fear-frustration-anger-sadness) increase Cortisol that affects muscle-mass strength and immunity adversely. Ashwagandha, an adaptogenic herb is best known as health tonic and restorative agent.

•    It improves mental and physical performance.
•    In Ayurveda it is considered as a premiere anti-aging herb due to its rejuvenation and longevity enhancers.
•    Ashwagandha increases vitality and vigor.
•    Great body/muscle tonic to release pains, arthritis, stress and gives a feeling over overall relaxation

To use, simple warm the oil slightly and use as a massage oil. You don’t want to wash it off for at least a half an hour, to ensure it’s been absorbed.

If you would like to visit her store, please mention my blog, she will be happy to know I sent you! She is at 165-8120 128 St, Surrey, BC. We will be having a giveaway in the future for this product.
