I found an article on myfoxspokane. It had some great ideas for helping with a hangover. Most of them I have heard of before but I guess it doesn’t hurt to repeat them.
With New Year’s Eve just two days away, many people are stocking the shelves with year-end spirits, rehearsing toasts, and making resolutions. But, after the clock strikes midnight and the bottles are empty, what does one do to combat a hangover?
Obviously one is drink plenty of water. (Add a teaspoon of sea salt with every glass of water you drink before bed – this is from a doctor!)
If you have an upset stomach, make yourself some ginger tea with some fresh ginger. Steep for 15 minutes and add raw honey.
Try to eat foods rich in magnesium – leafy green vegetables. Seeds are good too but need to be soaked overnight to rid them of some of the phytic acid.
Take some Vitamin C in the form of supplements AND fresh fruits.
Have a happy and prosperous new year!!
