Apple Cider Vinegar with MotherWhile I was in Mexico, I had a severe case of Conjunctivitis or Pink Eye. It was extremely itchy and very, very red. I would wake up in the morning and I could not open my eye. It was caked shut. The top eyelid was literally glued to my bottom eyelid. The only way I could open it was to bathe it slowly in very warm water and a face cloth. It took quite a bit of soaking but eventually, it came clean but my eye was still very red.

I decided to go to a clinic and get something for it. Sure enough, the doctor said it was Conjunctivitis and he prescribed me some drops to put in my eye a few times a day. I bought them and returned home and follow the doctors orders.

I tried this for close to a week but the drops did not seem to work. My eye was not getting any better and it was still caked shut every morning.

I decided to use my good ole standby, raw, unflitered Apple Cider Vinegar. I put a very tiny bit in the cap and held it on my eye.Ouch!

It really stings so you do a little dance and hop around until it stops. You cannot open your eye until the sting goes away. After one dousing, my eye was much better. It wasn’t near as itchy and the redness seemed to disappear almost instantaneously. I did this morning and evening.

I continued to use it for a few more days. It worked like a charm! My eye was totally clear and there were no more mornings waking up with my upper eyelid caked to my lower eyelid!

What are some of the things you use apple cider vinegar for? Post in the comments!
